Official US Navy VAW-123 Screwtops Command and Control Patches

Official US Navy VAW-123 Screwtops Command and Control Patches — Eyes of the Strike Group

The Screwtops of VAW-123 provide the airborne command and control that keeps the entire carrier strike group in the fight.

Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron 123 (VAW-123), the Screwtops, operates the E-2 Hawkeye, providing airborne early warning, command and control, and battle management for the carrier strike group. This command and control patch highlights VAW-123's primary mission — serving as the airborne nerve center that coordinates air defense, strike missions, and surface operations from 25,000 feet. Hawkeye crews track hundreds of contacts simultaneously, directing fighters to intercepts and managing the complex airspace around the carrier. Without the Screwtops, the strike group operates blind.

Perfect For: VAW-123 Screwtops aircrew, E-2 Hawkeye pilots and NFOs, carrier air wing command and control specialists, and Navy airborne early warning patch collectors.
