Officially Licensed USMC Marine Air Group MAG-16 Patch — Third MAW's Heavy Lifters and Tiltrotors

MAG-16 commands the heavy-lift and tiltrotor squadrons that give 3rd MAW its heaviest punch at Miramar.

Marine Aircraft Group 16 (MAG-16), based at MCAS Miramar, California, falls under 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing and I Marine Expeditionary Force. MAG-16 commands multiple helicopter and tiltrotor squadrons, providing heavy-lift, medium-lift, and assault support transport capability for West Coast Marine forces. The group's squadrons operate CH-53E Super Stallions and MV-22B Ospreys, giving MAG-16 the ability to move anything from a squad of Marines to a Humvee across the battlespace. MAG-16's leadership and coordination ensures that multiple squadrons work seamlessly together during large-scale operations.

Perfect For: MAG-16 personnel, MCAS Miramar Marines, 3rd MAW headquarters staff, I MEF aviation supporters, and USMC aircraft group embroidered patch collectors.
